Data Replication

teleworkerData Replication is the automated copying and synchronising of files between two or more locations. Companies can use data replication for a number of tasks including:

  • Keeping tele-workers data and files synchronised with the Head Office
  • Ensuring field sales staff have the most current brochures and documents with them at all times.
  • Backing up data from remote offices and small home office workers
  • Duplicating data between two sites to provide additional data backups and an alternative work location for staff in case of a disaster preventing access to their own office (common practice in manufacturing sites).

Example of replication in practice
Picture the scenario that you have either a small sales force or a few mobile workers that work from different geographic locations. It is vital that all members of your team have access to up-to-date documents and files and that any changes they make to documents are automatically synchronised with their colleagues files.

Using Data Replication it is possible to keep folders synchronised between several people allowing easy collaboration on projects, documents and spreadsheets.  Mulreany Consulting can assist you setting up data replication for your offices, staff or teleworkers to help make your business operations more effective.
